16th July 2004archaeological excavation at Isandhlwana 2001 ??

I was staying at the lodge at Isandhlwana at the end of 2000 and Rob Gerrard from the lodge (Military Guide/Historian) mentioned that an excavation was to take place the following summer. Does anyone know if this took place and where I can find out details of this.
