Over the course of a year, there will be numerous events that will be of interest to enthusiasts of not only the Defence of Rorke's Drift, but also the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 as a whole. | | 15th May 2009 | RE Museum, Chatham | 15-17 May 10 am to 4 pm Weekend Event Soldiers of the Queen - Discover the might of the Victorian Army and celebrate the 130th anniversary of Rorkes Drift, where Lieutenant Chard RE won a VC, and the other battles of the Zulu war (1879) There is an entrance fee.
