can anyone supply any info about private Camp. Where was he from ? where did he return to after leaving military service ?

Dear John,
Camp was born in Camberwell, but enlisted in Liverpool. He was discharged in 1881. There are details of his discharge in The National Archives at Kew in the Royal Hospital Chelsea Out-Pensions ledger WO116 entry A93246. This you can look-up yourself or buy 'The Noble 24th' by Norman Holme - see 'shop'
