6th December 2001	Peter Critchley Hi "Me".. The web is whatever you make of it. Firstly, I would advise you to be more open with your details - even if it's just your first name. It doesn;t make people want to help you when your keeping your identity anonymous... Secondly, I would suggest you visit lots of sites, and just browse around. Single clicks on buttons and "links" (like the ones in the bar on the left) will take you to that information. In yor web browser you also have "Back" and "Forward" buttons, to help you retrace your steps in a website. There is no fixed format to any website, but they all follow similar rules. If you want to use discussion forums etc, you need to read their rules. If you are having trouble, most webmasters will gladly help (but this is not obligatory) and many sites have a user base which will help with questions. This site is about Rorke's Drift and the Victoria Cross winners from that action. There is a lot of information on the site, and there are also a great deal of people who are interested who frequent this forum. If this topic interests you, please feel free to post questions etc here. I should point out, that this reply does not mean I want to become your technical support service! ;) If you hit difficulties tho, let us know (but you need to be able to help yourself first...)
