As I recall, Ron Lock has produced an excellent video of the battle and I feel sure that this includes air footage. I cannot be entirely certain of the extent to which it goes down the Trail. In any case, the video is wll worth the modest price.

16th January 2003 | Mo Jones. Hi Melvin.
I bought a copy of it at Isandlwana last
September during the 1879 group tour.
I think it will do for what you want.
Best wishes.

25th January 2003 | Alan Critchley Melvin,
the video is the easy (girls' blouse) way of seeing the trail. You should walk it and get completeley knackered as I did. Then swim the Buffalo River. It will give some idea of what the fugitives' endured.

25th January 2003 | Melvin Hunt Alan,
I (and my wife) did indeed walk the trail last October. (Read the "Your stories" link) and I did indeed marvel at what it must have been like on that day in 1879. What a nightmare it must have been.
