Date | Original Topic | 4th December 2002 | If the National Army Museum cannot get it right, why do we bother? By John Young I have just come across the advertisement for the National Army Museum's planned Zulu War weekend in February, 2002.
This is what is written:
'Find out how a Zulu army which decimated the British force at Isandlwana could then be repulsed by less than 100 men in an epic defence at Rorkes Drift.'
Anyone spot anything wrong with the above statement? I certainly do!
Does the National Army Museum know something we don't? Are the lists of Defenders of Rorke's Drift, which appear in various books and on this site an elaborate lie?
Come on the N.A.M., visit this site and get it right!
John Young,
A.-Z.W.R.S.

Alan | 5th December 2002 | George Hulmes John, it's a common mistake among ordinary people like film reviewers (Amazon, etc...), but you're right; it shouldn't be make be the N.A.M. of all institutions!

| 6th December 2002 | John Young Hello Dave - where you been?
Could it be anything to do with the Editor of that journal? I cite the content of his books, as a prior example.
