3rd July 2005	Son of Pte. J. Williams (Fielding), VC By Nick Thornicroft Did the son of Pte. Williams (Fielding), VC, enlist into the SWB as "Williams" or "Fielding"? I know he fell in action during the first weeks of the war, but there is at least one candidate for each surname in the Casualty Roll. Thank you.

4th July 2005	Martin Everett Dear Nick 8391 Pte Thomas Fielding 1/SWB KIA 26/9/1914 at the Asine. Buried in La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre Cemetery, France. Enlisted late 1903.
