Thanks Rosemary. Yes I see your point on the stats. Now what I've read is that Christianity is still the world's largest religion however its center is not Western Europe and North America but Africa, Latin America and Asia.
Of course we can't be absolutely sure of the future but it's reasonably likely to see your stats being developed and collected by definitions as South Africa itself partakes of this change in religion and its geography. Also, as Christianity develops in South Africa, I'm sure its differences will reflect more of Zulu culture than of theology as your example points out.
