It is absolutely fantastic !
Historic in the fact it is a member of the Natal Carbineers laying the wreath, so many years after several of their men died beside Durnford. It'd be great to get Peter Q. and Ron L.'s opinions of this. Personally, I'm delighted. Coll |

I�ve not long asked elsewhere if there might be a similar tribute by the Royal Engineers in the presence perhaps of a Durnford descendant at Anthony�s grave for the 140th Anniversary. With so many changes happening, the idea of anything being done satisfactorily on the Isandhlwana battlefield now, or on the 150th milestone 10 years hence, might be the only opportunity to do something worthwhile like this, maybe also at Lt Scott�s grave (at Fort Napier?) before interest wanes or too many changes somehow prevent such ceremonies ?
