I just hope the seller meant to say 'as used in'. Shocked

Doubtless some poor unfortunate will succumb.

Cheers,

Not even close Mad Where does he get that it was used in the film?

Also It doesn't come close to to Stanley Bakers uniform except for the flaming grenade on the collar, which is even different.. Shocked Very Happy

I asked the seller who said that he had verification from the costume company that it was from the film ...... However.....

Sad The collar is meant to be RE but is much less elabourate than Chards in the film. Seen even in the screenshots on the Zulu part of this site.
Sad Chard's piping is black in the film and white on eBay (as is the 24th's in the film.)
Shocked Chard's red trouser stripes in the film appear about 2 inches wide but are half that on eBay.
Question Chard's collar has white piping but on ebay the collar is all black.
Confused I don't have the film with me right now but will take a look when I get it back.

I could go on all night - draw your own conclusions.

Laughing if it was, 50 quid would be a steal.

Regards

I know, we will see it when the "Directors cut" comes out as part of the deleted or restored scenes. The scene where whoever wore the uniform never made it to the original release.....Yeah, thats it Very Happy

No other RE's to be wearing it at the drift (in the film) so Chard put them to work as "they were just sitting around" doing nothing. "Rather you asked first - old boy" Cue fly swatter.

Still no bids. Ho hum.
