As the war came to an end, it was pretty evident that even with the victory at Ulundi not many were fans of Lord Chelmsford. Now according to Greaves in "Crossing the Buffalo", songs in Britain were sung about Chelmsford mocking him. What I'd like to know is are these no doubt satirical songs sitting somewhere in a vault or could they be found printed somewhere together with the music? I'd think it would be a fine piece of English social history and I'd love to read the lyrics they penned on him.
