Hello all! First post, although I have been lurking for since before the new forums came on line.
I thought I remembered seeing some information on the pronunciation of some of the terms used in discussing our subject here, i.e. place names, regiments, Afrikaans terms, etc. I searched the forums, but came up empty.
Does anyone have a link to a source that I can reference for pronunciation? I have a friend in SA with whom I chat over Ventrillo who has been helpful, but I am seeking some written 'rules', if you will.

Of course, now that I have written this, I seem to remember an appendix in The Washing of the Spears, maybe, that gave some general hints?
