Major Paul Naish of African Byways is putting together a Zulu War Tour for the 140th anniversary. The tour is tentively scheduled for 23rd March - 3rd April 2019.
As well as the usual battlefields Paul intends to incorporate other Zulu War sites off of the beaten track. The tour will also include a chance to see the wildlife of KwaZulu-Natal close-up. Uniquely combining Pauls fields of expertise as a battlefield tour guide and an anti-poaching instructor. Those on the trip can expect to meet with some descendants of persons involved in the campaign of 1879. Any expressions of interest can be made to Paul by e-mail on [email protected] The cost including return flights from the U.K. and accommodation is approximately 3,000. A full itinerary should be available shortly. John Y. |

I wish I had read your post sooner, as lately Ive been aware of several books on the wildlife of Natal and Zululand, but didnt post any details as I felt nobody would be interested. Actually deleted all the books I was going to post regarding the parks, etc. Interesting to know he is an anti-poaching instructor |
