Request from Paul Naish:
Does anyone know where Sarah Rorke, wife of James Rorke, was buried?
Does anyone know her movements after the death of her husband in 1875?

Peter,

Please tell Paul it might bear fruit if he searches for Sara Johanna Rorke, nee Strydom, on a South African family history website. That's spelling of her name comes up on the N.A.S.A. search.

Peter,

Blast my library being packed up at present!

I have a book on James Rorke. Hardback, red cover and published late 1990s/early 2000s (if anyone else has a copy). For the life of me I can't remember the author's names. However, I am sure the book would give details of Mrs Rorke post her husband's death.

Sorry, best I can do at the moment. I can not even find a copy on the Net at present with which to give you better detail.

It's all well and good having an excellent library, but about as much use as a rifle with no ammo if my library is packed away! When I get a house in this country I'll have my library to hand....roll on 2013 (I hope!)

Sorry, I can not help more at present.
