 Sorry i have been away for some time, hope you all had a grand Christmas and New Year? As always research has taken up a lot of time but as ever i still need a great deal of help. I recently discovered that the father of QM Edward Bloomfield KIA Isandlwana was also a soldier and that QM Bloomfield had a brother (i have details), i have read that Edward Bloomfield was born 7th Nov 1835 but where?
In the picture of FRED HITCH VC with his arm in a sling it looks very much like a GC BADGE is shown, is this correct? Papers i have seen indicate that FRED was at Brecon but the accepted version is he was not, any ideas ?
Finding what happened to FRED`S MOTHER IN LAW is also proving a nightmare, located in 1891 but seems to have vanished after this (MATILDA SUSAN MEURISSE), any clues?
