Did anybody go to listen to the Rob Gerrard talk "Isandhlwana and the defence of Rorke's's Drift" and has any feedback on the event ?

He did 5 consecutive nights through July 6th -10th at Sherborne, Lyme Regis, Torrington, Budleigh Salterton & Tavistock.

In the circumstances I depict the organisers very probably have a venue and pre-arranged local audience in mind in some cases and are confident that they can reach the planned capacity of the venue.

So no need and sometimes no wish to draw in the general public.

However, that might not in every case apply.
