Hi Everyone,

Briefly popped into Phillip's Park cemetery on the way up to see my family. I'd heard the council had started to pull a portion of the funding from the upkeep of the park, but am sad to report that contrary to the immaculate state the cemetery was in a couple of years ago, it now looks 'derelict' and 'neglected' by comparison to previous years. The entrance off the Briscoe Lane (fire station) end looks like a bomb has hit it and the disused church (where the 593 and Stringer plaques were mounted) is now half-demolished'. We only stopped briefly but will get a full report on my next visit.
