I nearly fell off my chair in a fit of hysterics! Laughing

Look at the additional info the seller has added below.

If only my morals were less steadfast, I could make a bloody fortune!

Cheers,

I assume the Grenadier Guardsman had to go 'on guard' - that's why the tunic was withdrawn perhaps.

Perhaps we should start selling little bottles of "authentic" Rorke's Drift cattle kraal dung! When Mt St Helens blew back in 1980 ( I was living in South Africa at the time), my mother said people in the area were selling bottles of ash to folks all over the world.

Hi John

I'm sorry mate, already beat you to it. Gower cattle does the job well enough. I'm sure Martin could drive out to the Beacons on his lunch break and get a few carrier bags full of sheeps droppings.

I'm already marketing 'Lord Chelmsford's hair' from the handfuls I pick up at the barbers and the real money spinners are the chicken bones from Tesco I sell as 'Cetshwayo's last meal'. Very Happy

All jokes aside, it isn't fair to con people like that. It could be that the seller himself has been duped but either way there is a moron about and it's their sort who really do jeapordise the future credibility of AZW collectables. Evil or Very Mad

All the best,

Glenn

I suppose one could let the seller and eBay know that it is not what it is being sold as. Although, the "faint" Caine makes one wonder as to the sellers honesty. I should think you could fetch a decent price by just selling it as a tunic without the movie hype.

No it isn't IKB's set. I got that on eBay a week ago from a different bloke.

Well, I see there are no bids yet on Michael Caine's tunic. I think anyone who has seen the movie and paid reasonable attention would know this is NOT the one.
