I recently seen a nice reasonably cheap little plaque that I’m considering getting to place beside Simon Smith’s painting, which has underneath the badge - WHERE DUTY AND GLORY LEAD.

The meaning is on Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honi_soit_qui_mal_y_pense Not sure for definite I have ever heard that used before, unless it meant nothing to me at the time, but then again I’m no militaria expert. Interesting, but as the site sometimes has dubious information, is this right ? |
