Some time ago I attended a session at the Army Museum in Chelsea some years ago.
Ian Knight was there too but not as a participant. It consisted of a group of actors (I think) who played various characters in the AZW, dressed accordingly The audience asked questions of the characters who gave answers based on their guesses at the events. I can't give an opinion on its accuracy or value as I didn't see the whole thing. |

That is quite unusual, dont think Ive heard of that on previous discussions.
I do remember there was an event a few years back, where I think it was mentioned, indeed might even be photographs, that Ian Knight and a few others did indeed sit on a panel for a Q&A, but dont seem to recall it being an aspect of later events, at least not talked about on forums. Im sure the Q&A segment itself only lasting 15 mins to a half hour or so. It just seems an ideal opportunity to put forward a question(s) to several authors/ historians at the same time at a public event, rather than try to interview individually (the latter more for magazines and tv docs) Im needing to try and attend such an event, hopefully getting a question or two asked and answered in a new type of AZW environment, for me anyway |
