Tim Needham is currently arranging for a new headstone to be erected over the
unmarked grave of Rorke's Drift defender LSgt James Taylor 2/24th at Trefnant
churchyard near Denbigh, north Wales. A local company - Vale of Clwyd
Memorials - have very kindly agreed to provide a headstone free of charge.

Although a date hasn't yet been confirmed for the rededication, it is hoped that
it will be Saturday 15th June (to be confirmed).

The area but the cross shown has since disappeared.

I now realise Iíve been there before unsuccessfully looking for the grave.
The vicar didnít know where it was and even thought he was a VC.

On the B5428 Google maps:

(copy and paste the whole and it gives a streetview)
