A couple of weeks ago during a living history event I finally decided,
during the demonstrations of the various weapons to shoot my MH with black powder.
For this I used fiocchi 24 gauge plastic shells, which worked just fine.
My only problem is that the commissary gave my "only" five rounds,
which was just not enough without reloading them on the spot.
Since I do not carry a hunting or sports certificate I cannot buy these shells
in an weapons store. Besides these are fully loaded shotgun shells.
I do find sellers of brandnew empty shells on the internet, but then they don't ship outside USA or Canada.
So my question, is there anyone who knows a European based dealer who sells empty fiocchi 24 gauge shells, or a brave soul who has plenty to spare?
thanks,
GM

How many are you looking for - the big problem may well be trying to post primed cases to you in Europe - you can buy empty primed cases in 24 guage easily in the UK we have just got 3000 of them from Fiocchi - can spare a few but with the caveat that they can be imported to you - I am not going to risk issues with my customs etc to get a few cases elsewhere.

Tim,

no, please no risk taking.
Do you mean you got 3000 from Fiocchi UK by mailorder, is that correct? Maybe they ship within the EC?
They don't have to be primed, since I can buy primers without a problem from a store overhere.

thanks,
GM

The other option is by some 24g brass shotshell cases and trim them to length!.

It is an idea Neil, but like I said, I cannot buy anything aside from primers and blackpowder without having a hunting or sporting license.
I can of course get a license for my MH, but the last license I got for a black powber musket took me 2 years Evil or Very Mad
