Yes I have been on tour with Ian.
I was part of the 2010 Holts Battlefield Tours trip to KZN.
The Tour Guide was Ian Knight, assisted by Paul Marais.
Just 8 Brits on this tour, that took place April 13th - 27th, 2010

Following the tour, I put together an illustrated talk "A Tour of the Anglo Zulu War Battlefields" using selected photographs that were taken by the tour members.
This talk has proved very popular with local societies down here in the West Country where I live, particularly as I emphasise the "Devon connections" with the AZW of 1879.
More recently I presented this talk at the June 16 AZW event at the Brecon Museum, where it was well received.

I certainly would recommend the Tour - but it is not cheap.
But it is very comprehensive and covers more than just the battlefields; And of course, it is lead by Ian Knight - a factor that convinced most of us to select this particular Tour.
