Good day gents,
Does anyone know if James Marshall was in any way related to an Abraham and/or Isaac Marshall from Sculcoates, or a Ann/e Marshall (nee: Rudram) from Hull?

Thanks John, I appreciate the reply
Could you elaborate a bit on what the 'Line Pattern' is, and if possible from what time period did the British Army start and stop using these swords.

The latest addition to my collection. Named to a Cottel who served with the 11TH Bearer Company. His rank was either a LT-Col or a Maj.

Do you know if they were issued to all ranks, or just just officers?
