The Village hat shop FS helmets are quite nice. However to be "accurate" the liner must be replaced with the type used in 1879.

Well... if armed exactly the same... then the Brits would have sent in their own army of many thousands and dealt with the Zulus handily.

Well... for fun anyway... I think the French Knights at Agincourt would agree that the longbow would have defeated the Zulus.

I do of course write with the best of intentions. I was sure I had read somewhere that Chelmsford had either instructed prior or explained later why the camp was not lagered for this reas ...
