Caleb Wood and Robert Tongue By David Glynne Fox Dear All, As promised, I now have a date and time for the rededication of the graves of the above Rorke's Drift defenders. The ceremony will take place on Sunday July 18th at 1-00pm. at Shaw Street Cemetery, Ruddington, Notts.The service will be performed by the Reverend Simon Copley. As many of the family members are elderly and are coming a long way, it has been decided to arrange a buffet for invited guests. If any Zulu War enthusiasts wish to attend both the ceremony and the buffet, both events being entirely free, we need to know in advance the numbers attending the buffet, purely for catering reasons. This will also provide a venue (St. Peters Rooms, Ruddington), for everyone to get together and relax after the ceremony. With this in mind, the families have prepared special invitation cards which can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope, with number of cards required to: David Glynne Fox, The School of Biology, University Park, Nottingham University, NG7 2RD.
