16th December 2001	Lee Stevenson There has been some suggestion that JRM Chard may have fathered children. Indeed a number of 'direct' descendants have come forward over the years. Most of these have been dismissed as either genuine mistakes either by the press or by the individuals themselves, or simply as 'cranks'. However, I believe that a number of these claims may be worthy of further investigation.........
