HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!

Hi all,
Two dates in two nations history...one ends a war with the Zulu kingdom, and one is a day of remembrance as a day of Independence from the rule of England.
Now more then 200 years later America and England are the best of friends.

God Bless America......God Bless the Queen

Gary,

Just remember the war of independance wasn't won by the Americans. They didn't become Americans until after the war was over.

the only reason america won the war of independence was because the french kicked off in europe so we had to kick their asses instead of kicking you american asses. p.s soldier for soldier your no match to the british

James,

Your point well taken...yes it was Englishman vs. Englishman. And in the South as in the Civil War (the War Between the States) it was brother against brother.

Paul,
I think you have forgotten. In 1812 we went back to the United States to "kick their asses" and they kicked ours instead. after that we gave up and decided they made better allies than enemies.

Well,
This thread is starting to smell like another that was deleted. Can someone explain how this is on topic to the Zulu War? Beyond the original post by Gary, not too much relating to 1879.
Cheers,
Joseph
