Do you know any details about his Military service? Do you know, for example, which regiment he served in? These sorts of details will help people in this forum help you..
All the best,

Webmaster | 30th October 2001 | Roger Clifton Wasn't Windridge the burly Sergeant humping sacks around in the film? | 30th October 2001 | Martin Everett Dear Mike,
All Sgt Windridge's details are contained in the Noble 24th by Norman Holme, page 369. See our museum shop www.rrw.org.uk | 30th October 2001 | Stephen McDonald He is listed on the Garrison Roll of Rorke's Drift, in the 2nd Battalion, 24th Reg't.
And I think Roger is right, Windridge was mentioned by name in the film I believe.
