By Sheldon Hall
I have heard from several people that a parody of the film Zulu, probably entitled "Ulu", appeared on a BBC radio comedy show of the mid-1960s, hosted by the late Kenneth Horne. However, all my efforts to find evidence of this item among the contents of his regular shows, Beyond Our Ken and Round the Horne, have proved fruitless. Does anyone know of further details of the spoof or of the show in which it appeared, or better still, have a recording of it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
