Date | Original Topic | 12th March 2003 | Radio Spoof of Zulu By Sheldon Hall I have heard from several people that a parody of the film Zulu, probably entitled "Ulu", appeared on a BBC radio comedy show of the mid-1960s, hosted by the late Kenneth Horne. However, all my efforts to find evidence of this item among the contents of his regular shows, Beyond Our Ken and Round the Horne, have proved fruitless. Does anyone know of further details of the spoof or of the show in which it appeared, or better still, have a recording of it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. | Date | Replies | 13th March 2003 | Arthur Bainbridge That about sums the BBC up its the most anti british organisation there is,It constantly knocks our history I long for the day when its closed down and the license is scrapped.Full of left wing namby pamby socialists who always have time for there cronies but no opposition is allowed to speak for long as seen weekly in question time. |
