Does anyone know of any PC simulation games that allow the re-enactment of Isandhlwana, Rorke's Drift, Khambula, Ulundi. Just curious as I enjoy studying the accounts, then simulating. I've studied and fought the American Civil War, the Hundred Days War and others.

Bob,

There was an old link to a South African company, late last year which produced a pc game. Can't recall it off the top of my head.

Also, but in the early - mid 1990's there was one produced by an Australian company.

Another company is Incredible Simulations
(Chicago). There are about six different
battles and one is a demo that is
downloadable - Pearson's Challenge.
I believe its www.incrediblesimulations.com.

Bob/John,

Unfortunately the Twilyt one looks like it has been 'eaten up'

shame as it looked good - the Incredible Sim one is fine but is tame - it is a turn based strategy game just like a board game.

Perhaps this is finally a way I could get some money from this site! I could create a simulation game of Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift with the players feeding in their alternatves which affect the outcome. What do you think?

Alan,

I think that sounds like a great idea!
