Don't want to be a wet blancket, but would people refrain from using this site for their own financial gain. I make no money from it, why should they?
I won't hesitate from deleting any adverts not previously sanctioned.

I whole-heartedly agree. I had begun to think that these were paid commercials and I am delighted to see that you are prepared to to take a hard line. Go to it !

No one could label you a wet blanket, but why do you not just charge them a percentage of all income credited to your site.

This is a great site and I would hope that all regular users send a donation towards the costs. I take your point about advertising for personal gain but if anyone has anything of interest for sale etc. then surely it benefits us all to be informed. I think that Andy is right and that an extra donation should be sent on any sale proceeds. Maybe it would be worth setting up a "For Sale or Wanted Link" if it would generate income for the site? What do you think?

Hello all :)

We're going to be overhauling the site in the next few weeks and months (all good, I promise)..

Sections we're thinking of adding are the Auction section Alan mentioned, along with a more streamlined approach to the news section and adding a number of documents that James Garland has supplied us with available on the site..

The shop section will also have a face-lift, making it a little easier to use, and as we'll be databasing much of the site, we'll also add some proper search functions to enable people to find the info they want quicker..

Hope this helps!
