12th January 2003	Rorkes Drift defenders By Bill Baker Is there a register or list available any where showing all of the brave men who defended Rorkes Drift during the the Zulu assault. my wifes G/G/grandfather was killed there. his name was Flower,

12th January 2003	John Young Bill, There is a list of defenders on this site, click on the link 'other defenders'. 17 men on the British side were killed, or died of the wounds in the action at Rorke's Drift. Unless your wife's g/g/grandfather was serving under an alias he is not amongst those listed. Over the course today I'll check my records and endeavour to establish whether he died in another action for you. John Young, Anglo-Zulu War Research Society.
