Charles Knight Pearson:
Awarded the Companion of the Bath, made Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael & St George.
Continued in the Army and rose to the rank of Lieutenant-General.
He saw no further active service.
Held the appointment of the Superintendent of the Royal Miltary Hospital, Netley, before retiring in 1895.
He died in October, 1909.
Nothing to hand with regard to William Henry Dowling Reeves Welman, C.B., but I'm willing to check.
