I have recently been given a centenary print of Alphone de Neuville's painting of the battle of Rorke's Drift. It was issued in 1979 and signed by the Colonel-in-Chief of the RRW.

But I'm aware there was also a limited edition print of Fripp's painting of Isandhlwana issued at the same time.

Anyone know where I could get a copy so I can complete the set?

Dear Edmund,
There were only two prints in the set - the two you mention. There may be someone out there who may wish to part with the copy of the Fripp. I don't think there is any extra value in these centenary prints as both images are now widely available for purchase as fine art prints. The centenary prints were signed by Major General L Harrod - who was at the time Colonel of the Royal Regiment of Wales. HRH The Prince of Wales is the Colonel in Chief of the Regiment.

On a related matter if anyone should come across a large (3ftx 2 ft) framed photograph of the Lady Butler Rorke's Drift picture, please let me know - it's one of only three in existence and was presented to me but was stolen from me during a house move in 1996.
