Peter | 26th April 2001 | James Wilson Here is a link to another site with a history of the song. (Can you tell I like the song?)

I think I'll add them both to the links page!
All the best.
Peter | 30th April 2001 | George Hartnell Well, those site and words are good. But, from my ears, none of the lyrics fit snugly with the words on the (excellent) site rendition. Perhaps the Royal Regiment of Wales might be a resource? The words to the 1964 "Zulu" tune are a wee bit off, as well. Of course, for me, a "wee bit off" is a merciful discription of my singing....
Very best, G. | 29th May 2001 | Bernard Wilson The version of MoH given on this website has to be the best. Sung by the Royal Regiment of Wales, at Rorkes Drift! The lyrics are available via e-mail from the Royal regiment of Wales museum, but, although the exact words as sung on this site, they are in different verse order. I will send the words to the person running the site for possible inclusion on the web site. | 1st June 2001 | James Wilson It is quite stiring. The people I work with are, by now, quite use to me queing it up on the computer (thanks to the download on this site). |
