10th July 2005 | African Dancing - Zulu dancer won ? By Coll Apparently there was a programme on, which had people representing their countries in a dancing competition.
The Zulu dance based on the celebration after a victory appears to have been the winner.
Did anyone see it and was it any good ?

I should have added that the programme was on Saturday 9th July 2005. |

Yes, I saw it and it was good---the winner was Robbie Earle the footballer who danced a Zulu victory dance accompanied by, I believe, real South African dancers.
Very exciting and really made one think they were in KwaZulu-Natal.

Giles Smith covers it - or sends it up - in The Times today (p68). Sounds rather ridiculous but no doubt only a bit of (very) inauthentic fun.
