Date | Original Topic | 27th May 2005 | Soldier at Rorke's Drift or not? By Steve Lockhart Some time ago I was toldthat there was possibly a soldier at Rorke's Drift by the name of Lockhart. He supposedly survived the campaign, and on his death was buried in a paupers grave in Manchester.
Has anybody any information that can confirm this one way or the other.
Thanks Steve Lockhart | Date | Replies | 27th May 2005 | Michael Boyle Steve,
