Date | Original Topic | 25th May 2005 | Natal Mounted Police Helmet Plate By Edward Garcia During the Anglo-Zulu War era I know that the Natal Mounted Police used a helmet plate that consisted of a "NMP" monogram. Did this badge remain the same during the Boer War era? If not can someone describe what the badge looked like at that later date or possibly email a photo? I have used up every book and other source that I have access to.

Have a look at Owen's book on the badges of Southern Africa for pictures.
Hope this helps.
