This question may have been asked before, but anyway here goes.
In the Victorian British Army where did officers wear their rank badges? I know that General officers have always worn their rank on the shoulder, but what about those below them?

Collars. I dont know the eact system other then it was a bit different from today, ex a Lieutenant wore a crown rather pips like today. Perhaps someone else here can help
