There are omissions and inaccuracies in the transcript of Lord Chelmsford's Instructions from the Durnford Papers in A Greaves's book Isandlwana. anyone wishing to see a full and correct transcript is referred to 'Isandhlwana and the Durnford Papers' by J Whybra and FWD Jackson in The soldiers of the Queen Issue 60 March 1990.
